Luke 7:47

Luke 7:47  Jesus says "A person who is forgiven little shows only little love."
Today as I talked with Tommy about some things that have happened over this past week with my family. We came upon this verse. Now this is the second part of verse 47, but it is the part that stuck with me. Tonight as I prepare to go to sleep, I am reminded of the events that have taken place over the past few weeks, but in particular, last week. Obviously, Tommy coming home, was a most welcomed event. One that it seems like I have waited an eternity for. There have also been some "not so great" events, like my Grandmother's passing as well as some feuding between some family members surrounding things to do with my Grandmother. My prayer tonight, is that in everything we do and say, that we will be able to find forgiveness with others and with ourselves. I also pray that the Lord will make known to us those which we have wronged and make known what we need to do to "make things right". I pray for peace to spread like a wild fire throughout my family, and that they and I will learn from our mistakes and become better followers of Christ. I pray for healing for my family in their time of grief and that the Lord will make His presence known to them. I pray for my friends, that they ( in what ever they may be going thru) will find comfort and peace in His word and with talking to Him.  And the thing I pray for the most tonight, is that we will ALL forgive others, as we would want to be forgiven. It does us no good to hold onto anger, bitterness, hatred and resentment. They only invite more of the same into our lives. So please, take a moment to reflect upon some things, and think on the act of forgiving. One of the many things and very important things, the Lord wants us to do. Good night to everyone.... I miss you all and I love you all!!!!
